Spot on. I have a C6/C7 disc herniation and the shoulder blade is often where the pain starts before worsening across the shoulder and arm. Still not sure what to do to stop the pain worsening though.
I am having exactly the same pain at the same place. And it has started after running to 10km. At first I got stress in my neck and now I am having pain near my left inner shoulder. Do you have a solution for this ? Any exercises?
Oh yea i think mines neck. I was doing escentric press ups for twndonitis in my elbows. I noticed on the last couple reps on the 3 sets i did that my traps was trying too shrug just before i was hitting the floor. Now i woke up the day after with huge stabbing pain centre spine but left and right where the shoulder blades are located. When tilting head back huge amounts of pain more toward the bottom of my neck and pain when breathing in deeply. Is this the neck or the back that is main cuase here
I also have shoulder blade pain but it only triggered when I try to breathe... Did anyone get what I mean? God... It's like the world don't want me to breathe oxygen... My shoulder blade hurts when I breathe like halfway of breathing in, its hurting.
c5 suprascapular nerve. the cause isn't at c5, it's higher, and on the opposite side. manipulation might bring some temporary relief, but it fails to correct cause. a specialist in upper cervical adjustment is required to correct the cause.
I fractured C6 in 1995 and since then I've suffered pain in that exact area on the same side you're using as an example, too. When it's really flared up it causes the other side to hurt as well. They've tried all kinds of steroid injections over the years and it's barely noticeable and always comes back.
The medial scapular pain is caused by many reasons. Such as scars from surgeries on the gravity lines of ankle~knee~hip~back which I called vertical lines can have possibility to limit the range motions of the line, it cause the pain. The treatment of the local is a temporary way to release.

What does stones have to do with back pinch nerve ? Can you please explain ?

Yes. This is often due to a pinched nerve(s) in the cervical spine and is sometimes known as “cervical radiculopathy”.
